Project Zoë was set up to provide support for young mums to be who have found themselves alone and carrying an unplanned pregnancy. We provide a non-judgemental safe space to connect. We also have mums and health professionals sharing on the challenges of pregnancy, what to expect when expecting, and how to cope with life after giving birth. Ultimately Project Zoë seeks to help young mums dream, redefine their destiny, reach for their dreams and have renewed hope for the future.

Youth Coaching: Mabvuku and Tafara Outreach
Through site visits for Project Zoë it became evident that another challenge being faced in low income areas is that of girls having to drop out of school due to a shortage of funds. Sadly, many of these girls are idle and end up falling pregnant or entering into early marriages. To stand in the gap, youth coaching is being offered to out of school girls in Mabvuku and Tafara. This coaching serves to assist them with goal visualisation and setting, strategy creation, communication and presentation skills, self-confidence and etiquette.
Ultimately the goal is to give these girls a “leg up” by linking them to mentors, sponsors and potential employers who will help them move towards the various dreams they have.
