About Coach Shami

I am a multi-faceted and dynamic individual who wears many hats including those of – academic, philanthropist, life coach, podcast host, blogger and expert on family life.

For as far back as I can remember I have always been drawn to helping others. My mother loves to remind me of the time I used my pocket money to buy a bag of potatoes for my primary school art teacher after she mentioned that she would often keep and eat potato skins as she sometimes couldn’t afford to keep buying potatoes. This was only one of many significant moments in my life that pointed towards a deep desire to serve. As I grew so did my desire to serve, and with it the desire to nurture.

As I progressed through life these desires molded me into the person that I am today, where serving in various ways is a part of my very existence. Annually I engage in various philanthropic activities which involve fundraising for various causes or simply giving of my time to worthy causes such as youth empowerment initiatives and youth coaching session. I am always open to new opportunities for creating partnerships through which I, alongside others who share the same vision can positively impact those around us
