International Women’s Day 2021: Youth and Civil Society Dialogue on SDG5 "Achieving an equal future in a covid-19 world."

International Women’s Day is celebrated annually on the 8th of March. In 2021, Dr Shami joined in on a conversation on Youth and Civil Society dialogue where the topic turned towards the impact of covid 19 on the strides made towards gender equality as well as the ways in which communities can continue to progress in spite of the challenges brought about by the pandemic. Dr Shami brings in perspectives from the education sector whilst other guests cover issues to do with disability rights, the political sector and civil society.
